The Rifts photo shoot finally happened today, at the The Pool Bar in Shoreditch. It's taken weeks to get the arrangements in place, but I finally got there!
As the first photo shoot, today was certainly a day of learning. I think the most valuable lesson had to be this: 2 hours, is simply nowhere near enough time to do any kind of shoot. A good 30 minutes was taken setting up, and about 15 mins in packing up. After the band got ready, that left around an hour of actual shooting time.
I think given the above circumstances, it came out quite well. I'm not so happy with the group photos - they came out a bit "flat", but as the shoot went on and I got the hang of it, the light control was much better, especially in the individual shots.
Not a bad effort.
