It's funny to think that I have been listening to Idlewild since I was 15, and yet this has been the first time I've ever seen them live!
Like a lot of bands that mature with time, Idlewild's recent offerings have been a bit more melodical and relaxed than their early, teenage angst-ridden material, and I was worried that perhaps they'd gone a bit slow and mellow 15 years into their existence, but was pleasantly surprised at the energy of the gig, and how lively the crowd were!
A full album play through of "100 broken windows" followed by some old and obscure tracks provided a perfect Tuesday evening's entertainment - excellent.
