Things are just getting bad this year with gig photography. First I had the Muse gig at Wembley, where I was only allowed to shoot their support, Noisettes, then was promptly escorted out. Then there was Shiny Toy Guns + The Rapture at Astoria, that I also only had support-only pass, and nearly got thrown out, and this time it's Apollo Hammersmith.
Turned up at 8:30pm, to find out they weren't giving out any photo passes until 9:15pm, 15 minutes before Fallout Boy were going on-stage. I had a ticket, but apparently I couldn't get in without leaving my bag with the camera behind the box office. Yeah right.
At 9:15, they escorted all photographers round the back, and 5 minutes before Fallout Boy got on stage, they chucked us in, let us do the three songs, then threw us out again. Sigh.
If this carries on, I'm giving up, it's just not fun anymore.
